    Any adult who has some desire, however small or large, to get more involved in golf, learn more about golf and MOST importantly, learn the connection between improvement and FUN! These classes will be a combination of range and short game area learning and using the University of Minnesota Practice Range unique 3-hole short course with regulation sized tee boxes, bunkers, fairways, rough and greens, to re-create actual playing situations. You will not only “learn to play” but will “play to learn”. Pressure-free! Embarrassment-free! Fun-guaranteed! Don't have golf clubs? We will have both left and right-handed, men’s and women’s clubs available if needed.   • Intro to Dragon Boat Paddling for Teen Girls

    Dragon boating is one of the fastest growing sports in the world! Soaring down a racecourse in a long, narrow, canoe-like boat, 20 paddlers moving in synchronicity toward that finish line, is a feeling like nothing else! Here’s an opportunity to enjoy learning this sport, experience being on a team and working together and spend time on our beautiful White Bear Lake! GIRL POWER!! You will have four, weekly training sessions (one hour each) with a race and picnic lunch the last day. Paddles, boat and life jackets provided. If you have your own life jacket, please bring it. Requirements: Girls must be entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2022 Have a basic level of fitness. If you have your own life jacket, please bring it. The fee covers training, coaching, equipment and race entry fees. Requirements: Women must be at least age 18 and have a basic level of fitness.   • Kayak On White Bear Lake

    Get outdoors, learn something new, and experience your local park! Kick off summer with a kayak paddle on White Bear Lake to look for birds, turtles, and fish. Learn how to paddle, get in and out safely, and what to pack for a day on the water. Learn how relaxing and fun paddling can be. We will have single and double kayaks available. Wear shoes that can get wet and dress in layers for time on the water. When registering you will need to choose between: A single kayak OR a tandem (2-person) kayak. NOTE: Children ages 6-16 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Life vests are provided, but bring one if you have one. If you are registering for an adult and child only register the adult.     This class is a multi-age class and for all yoga skill levels. The practice of Soma Yoga helps re-educate our muscles to release tension and create freer mobility. The class emphasizes moving from within our bodies using breath practice and meditation to calm minds and spirits and gain strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina.
  • Yoga - Whole Body Vinyasa

    Whole Body Vinyasa is designed to increase both your strength and flexibility and is suitable for all ages and body types. The breath is incorporated into each exercise and is designed to relieve stress and anxiety. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Each pose will be described in detail for beginners as well as modifications offered for more advanced students. Improve the health of your body, mind and soul through yoga! For the morning Yoga class at Bellaire Beach, remember to bring yoga mat, possibly beach towel for under mat, water, sun protection as needed. $15 drops in welcomed! RAIN DAYS: If it is raining in the morning for Yoga at Bellaire Beach, class will be held at the Senior Center, except July 18 as the senior Center is closed for summer cleaning
