Welcome to the 2022 Bear Down Basketball Camp! Each sessions will focus on ball handling, shooting, finishing at the basket and reading defenses. Participants will also be engaged in 1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3 competitive activities. Players participating should have had experience playing either in the rec leagues or traveling programs. Each camper will receive a t-shirt! Join PE teacher and Middle School Golf Coach Mr. Misgen in our NEW WBL Golf Camp! Learn the basics of the game with fun games and contests. We will focus on learning the rules of the game, golf etiquette, putting, chipping, and much more! We hope to travel to other courses and locations for certain sessions. Please bring your own clubs. Range balls and prized included! This camp is designed to teach the basics of wrestling. Some aspects covered are stance, shot recognition and shot execution, mat readiness from feet and the mat. All camps are designed to focus on techniques that we feel will help the campers at the elementary & middle school. The sessions will be broken down to include instruction, drilling, and live competition. We feel a good mix of the three will keep the campers focused and excited to learn new techniques by drilling it, then getting a chance to try it when they wrestle live. Campers will always be separated into groups according to age, weight, to ensure the most improvement, challenge, and fun during the camp. Each camper will receive a camp T-Shirt the last day of camp. Students need to wear t-shirt and shorts. If they have wrestling shoes that is fine but they are not required. Girls Summer Youth Basketball Camps (3-8th grades) Time: Tuesday & Thursday (June 14th-July 21st) Cost: $99 Location: South Campus (Gym B) *The focus will be on shooting, ball skills and finishing moves. Great opportunity to focus on improving individual game. Grades (2022/23 school year) Tuesday & Thursday June 14th - July 21st 3rd-4th Graders 11:00-12:30 pm 5/6th Graders 12:30-2:00 pm 7th/8th Graders 2:00-3:30 pm HS Varsity Camp- open to students going into 9-12th grade next year. Cost: $75 Time 8:30-10:30 Dates: June 13-July 29 (Off the 4th of July week) Days: Monday-Thursday Location: South Campus Gym

Little Sluggers- This program is for children that will be entering Kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year (age 4-5). This is a 6 week introductory program to the game of T-Ball. Little Sluggers will meet one time per week from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Morning sessions will run from 9 am to 10 am at Otter Lake Elementary. All participants will receive a t shirt. Cancellations due to weather will be decided at the fields and sessions will not be made up. There will be no session the week of July 4th. We will focus on promoting team work, FUNdamentals, and sportsmanship. - Mornings Sessions will be at Otter Lake Elementary - Evening sessions will be at Lincoln Elementary Registration: March 1st - June 13th ** There will be ongoing health & safety protocols for all programs, participants, staff and families. These protocols will be shared when the season is about to start.

This one day camp aims to provide prospective middle school volleyball players the chance to meet the players and coaches from the high school, learn some of what to expect if you choose to play at high school including previewing some of the drills and learning the core values of the high school volleyball program.

Youth T-Ball is for children that are going into grades 1 & 2 for next school year. This program is designed to teach the basics of Tball while promoting team work, FUNdamentals, and sportsmanship. All hitting is done from a tee. T-ball meets two times per week. All participants will receive a t shirt. Cancellations due to weather will be decided at the fields and sessions will not be made up. A combo of practices and games will take place during your session. Bring your own glove. Evening sessions are located at Lincoln Elementary Morning sessions are located at Otter Lake Elementary (Registration is March 1st - June 9th) ** There will be ongoing health & safety protocols for all programs, participants, staff and families. These protocols will be shared when the season is about to start.

Summertime is the right time to prepare for the upcoming Nordic ski season! This program will focus on strength, technique, speed and endurance. You can choose either Session I (Monday/Wednesday evening, 6-8 PM) or Session II (Tuesday/Thursday morning, 8:30 am –10:30 am) or choose both sessions. Mondays and Tuesdays will focus on dryland training and on Wednesdays and Thursdays you will be on roller skis and will focus on technique and speed. All groups will be together on every other Saturday for a long endurance roller ski session. The program will focus equally on both the classic and skate techniques. The locations will vary, but the weekday sessions will all take place within the ISD 624 boundaries and the Saturday sessions will be a little further afield, but nearby. Roller skis are required (a combo or classic ski or a set of skate and a set of classic) and helmets are mandatory. There will be some skis available for use, but the supply is limited. The program will be headed up by Doug Cran, Head Coach of the White Bear Lake Area Schools Nordic Ski Team. There are no sessions July 2-9. Cost- $150.00 Session I - Monday/Wednesday evenings + every other Saturday Session II - Tuesday/Thursday mornings + every other Saturday Sessions I & II + every other Saturday (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs) - $250 ** Students should register for the 22/23 school year (grades 8-12)

Welcome to the 2022 Youth Cheerleading Clinic! Each participant will enjoy learning cheers, stunting, and jumping techniques lead by the White Bear Lake Varsity Cheerleaders! All participants will receive a T-shirt. A snack will be served each day. Please wear athletic shorts with athletic/tennis shoes and bring your own water bottle. An e-mail will be sent prior to the event with information on masking requirements at the time of the clinic. ** Participants should register for next years grade (22/23) Cost- $75.00 Dates: Grades 1-4 (June 27 & 28) Grades 5-7 (July 11 & 12) Location- Central MS Gym Time- 3:00 to 5:00 pm

New this summer, the WBL LAX Club is offering a lacrosse clinic for boys and girls ages 6 and under. Come learn the basics of lacrosse-- You will practice skills, passing, dodging, shooting, etc. Days- Mondays & Wednesdays (meet twice a week) Times- 4:00 -5:00 pm Location- Podvin Park Cost- $110 per participant * All participants will receive a new lacrosse stick, player shirt, and pictures are included in the registration fee. * No sessions the week of July 4th
