Fall is the best time to prepare your bed for planting blueberry bushes next spring. In this class you will learn how to successfully grow blueberries including, site and soil requirements, best cultivars for our climate, pruning, and seasonal protection from critters and winter. Paul has a passion for gardening, has been growing fruits and vegetables since his youth and has been teaching Community Ed classes since 2004. He is a certified University of Minnesota Tree Care Advisor and Extension Master Gardener, specializing in growing fruits, vegetables, trees and shrubs. He enjoys teaching others what he has learned through the UMN research and best practices.
