Enrichment Adult / Home -
AE 2526 Fall

Are Asia and America connected?  This geographic question occupied imperial explorers, entrepreneurs and tsars in the 17th century. The answer led them to probe the American coast, to trade for furs, and to map the land. Alaska remained part of the Russian empire until it was sold to the United States. Learn about this unique history as it shapes Alaskan culture to this day.
