  • 2019 Career Pathways Expo Vendor Registration

    Registration is officially open for the 2019 Career Pathways Expo. Like last year, we will continue to honor all of our Career Pathways which include Construction/Skilled Trades, Healthcare, Information Technology, Manufacturing/Engineering, and Automotive. We are open to other industries - reach out to Jenny with questions.This year will look a little bit different but will still have a similar feel. We invite all relevant employers, organizations, post-secondary institutions, and student school groups to participate. Hands-on experiences and demonstrations are required to think about the “See, Touch, Do” theme of the 2019 Career Pathways Expo. The purpose of the Career Pathways Expo is to show high school students, faculty/staff, the community, and all K-12 families what WBL Career Pathways is all about, as well as, honor our dedicated industry partners in the local community. This event is for YOU to showcase what you do!   • Meals on Wheels Donation

    Meals on Wheels is a community service that delivers nutritious meals to your home with the help of volunteers. This services is available to all persons regardless of age or ability. It is a wonderful way for individuals to stay connected to their communities, remain healthy, and live independently, for as long as possible as well as those with a short term need for meals after a hospitalization/surgery.Meals are provided at a reduced rate due to generous donations from participants, foundations, and the wider community, and also through support of the White Bear Lake Area School District, Consortium of Lake Area Senior Services, Ramsey County, Metro Meals on Wheels, local Lions Clubs and others.For more information about Meals on Wheels call our Meals on Wheels Coordinator Debbie Walker at 651-653-3123 or email Deb.Walker@isd624.org
  • Senior Program Donation

    To provide essential services and utilize the gifts of our ever-growing aging population, the White Bear Area Senior Program relies on and appreciates our neighbors' continuous and generous financial support.  Our mission is to provide information, activities, and services to enhance the lives of older adults. We strive to provide and create opportunities in a manner which affirms the dignity and self-worth of each individual. Annually: Deliver over 18,000 meals through Meals on Wheels; Connect countless individuals and families to housing, transportation, nutrition, medical and social services through our Elder Resource Specialists; Host over 15 weekly activities for 400 Senior Center members; and Engage over 300 volunteers who gave back thousands of hours to their community. In addition, the White Bear Area Senior Program provides a foot care clinic, Medicare consultants, the Craft Corner Gift Shop and a library, as well as AARP Smart Driver education, adult enrichment and fitness classes. To accomplish all of this, the White Bear Area Senior Program relies on the financial support of generous donors like yourself. Please consider including the White Bear Area Senior Program in your annual giving. All gifts are appreciated and tax-deductible.
