    This FREE event, beginning with a free pizza dinner, beginning at 5:30 pm. Breakout information sessions will cover the topics of Human Trafficking, Youth Mental Health, Internet Safety, and Youth Drug Use and Awareness. Additionally will be hosting a Traffic Safety Information table to answer all your questions on teen driving laws and keeping your teens safe on the road! Do No Miss This Event! It is only offered once a year, and provides you with one on one interaction with officers and staff who are experts on these important topics. This session is for adults only.
  • Savor, Stroll & Experience Hudson - A Food & Historic Walking Tour by Hudson Food Walk

    Experience the unique tastes and unforgettable charm of historic downtown Hudson on a guided walking and food tour from Hudson Food Walk. During your three-hour tour, you’ll learn about Hudson’s rich history, stroll along the banks of the scenic St. Croix River and make stops at six popular downtown destinations to enjoy tastings including authentic German, spicy Caribbean, classic American and Cuban dishes. Also included is a fun craft cocktail tasting and demonstration at the recently opened Pedro’s del Este and the tour ends on a sweet note at Knoke’s Chocolate shop for a sampling of signature handmade chocolates and ice cream. The Hudson Food Walk is a great way to explore Hudson's thriving food scene and experience all this vibrant river town has to offer. Tours are rain or shine! Dress comfortably.Mobility Concerns?  The walking tour is under one mile of walking which is broken up between the locations we will be visiting.  There is only one flight of stairs into the Winzer Stube.TASTING DESTINATIONS: Winzer Stube, Barker’s Bar & Grill, San Pedro Cafe, Pier 500, Pedro’s del Este and Knoke’s Chocolates & NutsTIME: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (check in at 1:15 p.m.) in front of Winzer Stube German Restaurant (516 2nd Street). Parking is available on the street.

    To provide essential services and utilize the gifts of our ever-growing aging population, the White Bear Area Senior Program relies on and appreciates our neighbors' continuous and generous financial support.  Our mission is to provide information, activities, and services to enhance the lives of older adults. We strive to provide and create opportunities in a manner which affirms the dignity and self-worth of each individual. Last year we: Delivered over 16,000 meals through Meals on Wheels; Provided over 3,300 rides on the Lionmobile; Connected countless individuals and families to housing, transportation, nutrition, medical and social services through our Elder Resource Specialists; Facilitated 14 weekly activities for 447 Senior Center members; and Engaged over 300 volunteers who gave back thousands of hours to their community. In addition, the White Bear Area Senior Program provides a foot care clinic, Medicare consultants, the Craft Corner Gift Shop and a library, as well as AARP Smart Driver education, adult enrichment and fitness classes. To accomplish all of this, the White Bear Area Senior Program relies on the financial support of generous donors like yourself.
