Trips & Travel for Adults
Virtual Story Time
Learn to build and launch your own rockets from everyday common materials. Multiple design, building, and recovery techniques will be experimented with. Use 3D design software to design and 3D print some of the parts for your models. These rockets are cheap to make so it removes the anxiety of “doing it wrong”! Build it and see what happens, within the rules of model rocketry. A rocket launch is part of the program. Launch equipment is provided. We may have time to use simulations to experiment with real rocket variables and try to find out what it takes to move an object beyond earth’s gravity and possibly to other planets.
