Bear FUNdamentals is a year-before-kindergarten full day program focused on providing, nurturing and engaging opportunities for learning and play that prepare children for kindergarten. Located at Birch, Hugo, Lakeaires, and Otter Lake Elementary Schools from 9:00 am-2:45 pm, you can also register for Extended Day hours before or after school. Click here for a complete list of fees, deadlines, and more information. Bear FUNdamentals focuses on children's emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth. Children work on listening skills, language and literacy, thinking and math skills, and social development through meaningful, interactive play. Content is based on Creative Curriculum, and the program is staffed at a 1:10 ratio, taught by passionate instructors who encourage curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving in a stimulating, structured, and fun environment. Choose from a variety of different contract options! Additionally, transportation may be available to your child depending on school choice and current routes. A minimum contract of 3 consistent days per week is required. Registration fees are charged at time of registration and are non-refundable. School Year 2020-2021 Registration Fee- $40/kid Full Day Contracts (6:30 am-6:00 pm) include AM & PM Extended Day care and Bear FUN programming from 9 am-2:45 pm and no additional registration is required. If you are only needing AM or PM Extended Day option in addition to Bear FUN you will want to register for a School Day Bear FUN Contract and also register for Extended Day, this is now an option to add under your BearFundamentals contract. White Bear Lake Area PreschoolUPDATE: 02/11/2021 Enrollment for 2021-2022 school year opens on Feb.23rd at 8am. Thank you for your patience while we create safe environments for all of our families. Early Childhood Protocols Masks to be worn by adults and children ages Kindergarten and up in buildings Masks are recommended for children age 2-5 but not required there will be opportunities for children to practice wearing masks in class if they choose to bring one We have limited the number of people coming into the building to a line with MDH & MDE guidelines District follows the MDH COVID Exclusionary policy for all staff and students Cleaning of materials is done after each class and the classrooms are sanitized each night Contact tracing of people in the building White Bear Lake Area Preschool offers school-year long classes for children ages 3 to 5.
