South East Asian Cuisine (Hmoob): Traditional Hmong Rice

For many cultures, rice is a staple food and an Asian way of life, culture, customs, traditions and spirituality. Rice has been a seed in many diets but it was always more the process of making the rice than the end product. For Hmong people, this grain is the longevity of their people. Class participants will learn how to make steamed white rice from the ground up.

Remember to bring an apron to class!
